PNWRacing Team Captures Podium Finish

Just like Revhard was saying this was an “interesting” weekend as far as weather is concerned. With half the team out with injuries it was up to Randy and I to fly the PNWRiders racing team flag.

Randy made the most of it and captured a notable 3rd place finish in the 650 Supersport class! Well done Randy!! (Full race report coming up . . .)

Me . . . well after another last minute tire change I barely made the Open GP Twins grid with wet tires as the track was drying out. Tires felt “weird” but had a good start. Entering turn T7 I was looking at Allister’s tail pipe and figured I could line him up and maybe take him on my way up to T8. Got on the throttle at the usual time and my rear end came around so fast I pulled a 180, low-sided backwards and slid all the way up the hill . . . ouch! Bike and I done for the day. As it turns out I had 42 PSI in the rear tire from my tire hasty change! :

Now back to work to get bikes ready for the next season!

Good job Randy and see you all next year!
